First the basics. I have been married to John for 24 years this year. We moved to Livermore in 1995 after relocating from San Jose. I am an Operations Manager for a small engineering firm in Pleasanton. John is a Logistics Manager for Menlo Logistics in Cupertino. We have one daughter, Jill, who is currently a junior at Chico State. I am an avid (although not currently active) horseman and John is a car "nut", which led us to DMC!

John had always liked the Miatas and one day talked me in to going to look at them with him. Who could resist? We drove home in our '01 Midnight Mica Blue after making an agreement that if we bought the car, we would join one of the clubs. So, we looked around at different clubs for a while and finally joined DMC in February of 2002. We wanted to find a club in our area that we could get involved and be active in and DMC fit the bill.

We have made some wonderful friends over the past twelve months and had some terrific fun with all of you; seen a lot of beautiful places. We had a great time organizing a run to Murphy's in October and plan to do so again this year.

I hope 2003 will be a terrific year for all of us and for Delta Miata Club. I am looking forward to being your Vice President this year and encourage all of you to come on out and have a great time with your club.
